Ninth Chords

In this exercise you will be asked to identify different types of ninth chords: major ninth (those built on a major triad with a major seventh), minor ninth (those built on a minor triad with a minor seventh), dominant ninth (those built on a dominant seventh chord), and those containing an augmented ninth.

For example, if you hear this chord (C, Eb, G, Bb and D), you would answer that this is a minor ninth chord, because it built on a minor triad with a minor seventh).
