Transcribing Chords - Ninth Chords

In this exercise you will hear a chord and will be asked to transcribe the notes in it. All of the chords will be ninth chords, and can be major, minor, augmented or dominant ninth chords. You will be given the name of the root note, but the root note may not be the lowest pitch in the chord - chords may be in either root position or first inversion.

For example, if you hear this chord and are told that the root note is C, you would answer that the notes in the chord are E, then G, then B, then C, because this is a major seventh chord in first inversion.
