1. Data controller

The data controller is the operator of Ear Training Pro (“the Service”). For any request about your data, write to orlando.selenu@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

Account: email address and password (always stored encrypted, never in plain text).

Progress: exercise results, statistics and settings, to give you your history and progression.

Aggregate analytics: we use Umami, a cookieless, self-hosted analytics tool. It collects only aggregate, anonymous data (page visited, referrer, country, device type, operating system and browser). We do not use tracking cookies, build individual profiles, or collect identifying data for statistics.

3. Payments

Payments for Pro features are handled by Stripe, which acts as the processor for payment data. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe: we never see or store card numbers. We keep only the purchase outcome needed to activate your Pro access.

4. Legal basis and purposes

We process data to provide the Service (performance of the contract), to enable purchases, and to improve the product through aggregate statistics (legitimate interest). We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Retention

We keep account data while you maintain an active account. You can request deletion at any time; aggregate, anonymous analytics data cannot be traced back to you and may be kept for statistical purposes.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to object. To exercise them, write to orlando.selenu@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

We may update this policy; significant changes will be indicated by updating the date at the top of this page.
